DECISIONS, DECISIONS

For the past few weeks, I've gotten nothing done on the decorating front except clicking "order sample" buttons on fabric warehouse websites. I desperately need some curtains in my living room, but because it's a) a small space, and b) I haven't been able to shake a subconscious directive that the curtains MUST BE GREEN, it's been tough going. Right now, the options look like this:
Clockwise:  1. Bethe in leaf, 2. Corridors in white, 3. Robert Allen Lattice Bamboo in leaf, 4. an ikat fabric from Ballard Designs they call Matisse, but which is actually Echo for Kravet, Var. 3 (and a pretty stingy sample too), 5. Green Ikat from lsfabrics, 6. Cross Section in honeydew, 7. Good Life Gridwork in celadon, 8. Secret Gate in chartreuse.

Some larger shots of the fabrics in action:

And this is the space they're going in:

Finally, I'm toying with the idea of the doing the curtains in the same Duralee green ikat as the current pillows (on the couch). I'm just not sure I'm going to like six hanging yards of it, as opposed to the nicely framed shape of a pillow.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Harsh criticism? Leave a comment!

I'm coveting that same fabric in yellow. Curtains would be stunning but combined with the pillows could be too much of a good thing. Good luck - loving green myself these days!

I agree with Kim. The fabric is nice; but I would go with a different pattern. I think another (coordinating) pattern would add another layer of "interest" in the room.

I agree with the above! Too much pattern with the same color but they are all gorgeous! Maybe a more neutral color in a pattern? Or more solid green? Good luck!

There's a reason my home is mostly beige - paralysis on decisions just like this.

Your place looks great, BTW.

I love a mixed bag of patterns, I'd go with the same color family as your pillows, but a new pattern to keep the pillows as a focal point. Good luck!

OK, I'm a little late to the party but here's my two cents. I would do plain white panels with a band of green trim near the leading edges. I think it would coordinate nicely without being a sea of green. Unless, of course, you want a sea of green in which case i would do the reverse and have a plain green panel with some fab white trim.
The room is marvelous BTW.

oooh some gorgeous fabrics - all of which would look wonderful. I like Kerry's idea and vote for a white curtain with a deep hem of your chosen print. I'll go out on a limb here - have you considered a floral maybe like this
http://www.faboutdoorfabrics.com.au/YourSelection.asp?IDNo=202 I'm only talking 20-25" depending on your ceiling height. The other option this gives you is being able to unpick and replace the hems when you change your mind. Looking forward to seeing what you do!
