Pattern Paradise: Palm Beach Comes to Long Island

This Long Island home is a colorful but restful repose - and it's pattern heaven. The tropical feel warms New York winters, and the Palm Beach style hints at vacation. Below, owner Vernoica Beard, who idolizes Lilly Pulitzer. Don't you want to be her?

She is rather gorgous. Alot more pattern than I could live with though. Some very beautiful pieces.

This is fabulous-wonderful colors and patterns. Exciting and fresh unlike all the white decorated beach houses that make me catatonic.

Bit too much pattern for me, too, I'm afraid -- but that porch is amazing! I love the stripes with the fun pillows.

Wow. This is very well-done. It takes a fearless designer to use pattern like that. Really unexpected for a beach house too. I think it actually manages to look very fresh and chic.

I'd have to classify this one
under Fun to Look At ... .

Oh my! There's something really refreshing and chic about that kitchen color...some rooms have a bit too much pattern for my taste, but, it suits the home I think. Nice post :)
