SPEAK TO ME NOT...

Of Fall. Avoid, at all costs, Autumn. Keep your campfires, smoking softly...  scatter no leaves.

Yet the stores are already stuffed with heavy sweaters, woolens, coats, and tweeds in a palette of browns and blacks. But tangerine orange, banana yellow, watermelon pink, grass green - these are the colors of delight, the shades of summer. So Vogue, take note:  the heat index is higher than the number of pages in your magazine. Bazaar, your descriptions of fabulous fur coats make my brain go fuzzy.

I want cool, I want chic, I want SUMMER.

I so agree, a friend told me they are starting to bring fall in already. Yikes it is too hot to even think of fall. No wonder we rush from one thing to the next, how can we ever keep up, crazy. I am holding onto the lazy, hazy days of summer!! Kathysue

No kidding!!!! I was in Target with Isabella & Max when we stumbled across the huge 'Back To School' section...they were as irritated as me, if not more so. "It's not time for school, summer just started!!!"

this is my least favorite thing about the fashion industry.....it's hard to enjoy the season we're in without being bombarded with the next season's goodies....and while i do love fall like nobodies business, i want summer to last as long as possible!

I'm so with you on that. I feel like I've barely gotten into summer.
