It's a great week to be a J. Crew fan. If you're in New York, don't miss the fabulous SAMPLE SALE, and for the rest of Crewnation, there's 30 percent off of coats purchased online! As for me, I've gone and given my heart to a blazer. Typical Wednesday.

What does this remind me of? Oddly enough, Project Runway. Specifically: Laura Bennett, finalist, season 3. When this gray and chartreuse gown came out the gate, you could hear the nearly comatose Bryant Park audience perk up, collectively gasp, and then applaud. I still think it's a fantastic (and completely unexpected) color combination.

God I'd forgotten how great that dress was. In fact, Laura's whole collection was great, though perhaps a bit out of season since it was the Spring show.
Looove this post! Funny, I am all about a similar concept for fall...neon green! I know, sounds crazy, but, I defend it on my blog today. LOL. I happen to love it!
That is a great looking jacket, love the color combination. G
I wanted that yellow opera coat they sold out of instantly.

Sanity Fair-
LOVE YOUR BLOG.
I laughed at the J Crew post. The new catalog arrived.
I hope you saw the 'reverse Chanel' flats in black with a white toe...great for travel, very charming.
It's also in a palce mushroom color that looks chic.
Did not see anything for footwear in chartreuse.
cheers, www.thestylesaloniste.com
